Maratha is a small Turkish community in the occupied part of the Ammochostos District.

Geographical Location: It lies 19 km Northwest of Ammochostos, on the Mesaoria plane.

Population: The population of this community in 1960 numbered 113 (all Turks). its Turkish population in 1973 was 124.
