Louroukina is a large predominantly Turkish mixed in the occupied part of the Lefkosia District.

Geographical Location: It lies 20 km Southeast of Nicosia at an elevation of 240m.

Population: The population of this community consisted in 1960 of 3 Greeks and 1.547 Turks. its Turkish population in 1973 was 1.963.

Christian Places of Worship: Within this community, is the church of Sotir and the chapels of Agios Epifanios, Agia Marina, Panagia Filidotissa, Timios Stavros (Limpia/Olympia).
